中新社香港4月30日电 香港金融管理局30日公布，截至2024年3月31日，香港外汇基金总资产为40638亿港元，比上月底增加229亿港元，其中外币资产增加232亿港元，港元资产则减少3亿港元。
香港金融管理局表示，外币资产增加，主要是因为投资按市价重估及来自投资的利息收入。港元资产减少，主要是因为香港股票按市价重估及已购入但未结算证券的月底余额减少。
另外，2023年香港离岸人民币业务延续增长趋势，于各个范畴都录得增长，其中人民币存款(包括存款证余额)增长6%，至10453亿元人民币；离岸人民币债券发行(包括存款证)更增长65%，至5451亿元人民币。期内，香港管理资产总额共约2210亿美元，约有650间私募基金公司在香港营运。(完)
