中国日报4月19日电(记者 欧阳诗嘉、马清)奥纬咨询董事合伙人贝哲民(Ben Simpfendorfer)在接受中国日报专访时表示，中国经济正在企稳，政策制定者有充分理由在今年维持宽松的利率和信贷政策。他说，尽管5%左右的经济增长目标有一定挑战性，但如果房地产逐步企稳，目标仍可实现。
贝哲民对部分西方媒体炒作的“中国经济见顶论”进行反驳，他认为，中国经济在持续发展，经济长期增长的前景非常好，未来中国仍将是全球制造业的中心，还是全球创新的中心。“中国对全球商业很重要，对全球经济也很重要。在这一点上，没有另一个中国。”
