中新网成都4月25日电 (记者 张浪)四川省纪委监委25日消息：资阳市委副书记、市长王善平涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受四川省纪委监委纪律审查和监察调查。
王善平简历：王善平，男，1966年3月生，汉族，四川大竹人，省委党校在职研究生学历，1984年4月参加工作，1985年4月加入中国共产党。1984年4月至1988年11月，先后在大竹县石河乡、清河区工作；1988年11月至1996年6月，历任大竹县柏家乡乡长、党委书记，清河区委副书记、书记；1996年6月至2002年11月，历任大竹县副县长，县委常委、副县长，常务副县长，宣汉县委副书记；2002年11月至2015年11月，历任万源市委副书记、代市长、市长，开江县委书记、县人大常委会主任，渠县县委书记；2015年11月至2022年4月，历任达州市副市长、渠县县委书记，省扶贫开发(移民)局党组成员、副局长，巴中市委常委、市人民政府党组副书记、常务副市长，巴中市委副书记，南充市委副书记，资阳市委副书记；2022年4月至今，任资阳市委副书记、市人民政府党组书记、市长。(完)
