4月26日，呼和浩特市公安局2024年民警荣退暨警号传承仪式上，民警包牧仁佩戴上“012642”警号标识。随后，全市公安系统对讲机先后呼叫“警号‘012642’，欢迎归队”。
包牧仁的父亲宝力格生前是呼和浩特市公安局玉泉区分局刑警大队三中队指导员。2007年，在一次抓捕任务中与持刀嫌疑人殊死搏斗，不幸壮烈牺牲。妻子索连红继承丈夫遗志，启用丈夫生前使用的警号“012642”。今年4月，索连红退休，包牧仁向组织申请继承父母的警号“012642”。
